Problem Solving

The primary problem addressed in the training is the struggle professionals face with effectively managing their time, particularly with tasks like prioritization, handling task overload, overcoming procrastination, and staying organized. These challenges often lead to reduced productivity, missed deadlines, and increased stress.
To identify what learners need to know, I created an action map that pinpointed the skills and strategies essential for overcoming these issues. Then, mockups were created to visualize the interactive components of the training, ensuring that each activity aligned with the identified skills. By consulting with a time management expert and a Marketing Manager as a SME, I ensured that the training targets common, real-world challenges.

Why Animate?
Animation captures attention, making complex concepts like time management more engaging and memorable. It’s a cost effective alternative to live-action, avoiding expenses like hiring actors. I wanted to showcase a skill that’s increasingly in demand in professional development content.

Implementation
Interactive elements, such as in-video questions reinforced key concepts. Dialogue slides between characters provided context for time management challenges, while the platform’s features allowed seamless integration of multimedia with interactive exercises like pick-many questions, drag-and-drop activities, and 360-degree images. This approach enabled learners to apply time management concepts in practical scenarios effectively.
Takeaways

The training addresses these issues by equipping learners with practical skills through interactive videos, pick-many questions, 360-degree images, and drag-and-drop exercises. Additionally, a Time Audit activity allows learners to evaluate their current time management practices and identify specific areas for improvement. This blend of assessment and skill-building ensures that learners gain relevant, actionable techniques to enhance their time management skills and apply them directly to their work. This not only boosts individual productivity but also supports organizational goals, making the training a valuable solution for employers aiming to foster efficient, proactive teams.
